Corn Ho Shuk Mei graduated from Master of Fine Arts program (Merit) at the University of Arts London, Wimbledon College of Arts (2014-2016). And, she got B.A. Fine Arts (Contemporary Studio Art Practice) and minored in French Studies from the Chinese University of Hong Kong (2007- 2010). Now, she is an artist of 401 1/2 studio in London, U.K.
Often psychological, her paintings delve into deeper levels of human innermost states of mind. She creates atmospheric, melancholic paintings conjuring up feelings of dislocation. She wishes to draw the viewer into an imaginative and uncanny world by applying layered paints on various flat objects to connect with memory related subjects.
She has had solo exhibitions and joint exhibitions in the United Kingdom and Hong Kong, and some of her works have been privately collected.
